My name is Brad Beck, I am the owner of Zedezine Photography. I first started dabbling in photography when I was in middle school and my grandfather gave me his old minolta SLR. I held on to that camera for quite some time until I was able to upgrade to a Nikon F70, get a good zoom lens and have some fun. It wasn't until college that I started to get into sport photography. I had a great time shooting but I enjoyed playing sports a bit more at the time, and I still do, but eventually photography took back over. I still rock climb, kitesurf, mountain bike, snowboard, etc..., and try to do an adventure race when I can. For a while I worked with a company called REI in which I taught digital photogrpahy classes, rock climbing, kayaking, navigation and a few others. It was a great way to combine all the things I love to do into one.

A lot of people ask how I came up with the name Zedezine. Well I also build custom furniture, do graphic and web design. So I thought why not come up with a name to incorporate all that I do. I now do furniture as a hobby, and focus primarily on my photography. I enjoy all genres from landscape to wedding, but not more than taking photos of furry and playful loved ones we call pets. My first pet was a cat, and had many more after that, until about 7 years ago when I got Sally, a Jindo, from a rescue shelter in LA. For those that haven't heard of the breed, it is a Korean Hunting dog. Great in all conditions except when she she's a squirrel or group of deer, then it's hunting mode.
